I awoke this morning with the beginning of the first chapter in my next book typing out in my head. I literally heard the sound of the keys of a manual typewriter tap-tap-tapping away happily, with a DING! and rolling-click sound at the end of each line. It was an interesting phenomenon since I haven’t actually typed anything for at least two decades, but it was an iconic representation, I believe, of a reminder that something needs to get done.
So, although today was predetermined to be a cleaning/organizing day, I think, perhaps, it has been reassigned. Today is the day I allow the floodgates to open and welcome the inspiration of the Gods and get onto paper that which is coursing through me.
