As I drove my daughter to school this morning – a trek that crosses diagonally from practically the farthest point of the valley to the other – I was taking in the sights around me. Along 3500 South in West Valley – a fairly busy road lined with mostly businesses, gas stations, car lots and the occasionally dilapidated little house – I caught a glimpse of something that made me flip a U-ie to verify if I actually had seen what I thought I had…
It’s a crappy cell phone picture, I know, but I couldn’t resist snapping the shot. Because, you see, apparently it seemed to make more sense to the new owner of this once-daycare-center to spray paint over the name of the business on the marquee and use the letters to make it clear with a note – on BOTH sides, mind you – that reads “Private Home.”
Oh my! I’m still laughing about this one!
