In listening to Jen on Everyday Joy yesterday, she issued a fun challenge to create a paper chain to countdown to some unknown date in the future. The point was to just create a chain with a random number of links and trust that on The Day, there would be something to celebrate. It’s a practice in bring joy and celebration to every day of your life, as well as letting go of control on how it’s supposed to look.
I enrolled Kait in the creating of our chain and we made an adventure out of it. She chose to use staples. I chose to use glue. It ended up begin a really cute chain and here are some shots of what the process looked like…
