I’ve been doing a lot of blog crawling these days as I stretch my fingers and brain while easing myself back into the swing of regular blogging/writing/creating. In this process, I’ve discovered a new pet peeve. Or, maybe it’s an old pet peeve that I’m revisiting. I can’t be sure, but it looks like this:
What I want to know is… when did it become acceptable for textese to be used in written documents such as blogs, letters and email? And what happened to capitalizing the first letter of sentences?
“Well, you’re just being bitchy, Angie.” Is that what you’re saying right now?
Yes?
Perhaps I am.
I’m willing to live with that.
