It is early in the morning and the world is still. All I hear is the tapping of these keys, the ticking of the tiny clock beside me and the plethora of birds outside the window who are singing happily and I’m loving being able to hear those sounds. There are days where I feel so much gratitude for being alive that I suspect I could burst from the joy. This is one of those days.
Today I am grateful for… * road trips through the rain * knowing people who are able to help me when I need it * being able to call friends, explain what is going on and them being able to see possible solutions * memories * lessons learned * living in Utah, instead of Missouri * the ability to multi-task when I need to * the ability to be singularly focused when I need to * laughing with my family * recognizing tenderness.
I AM alive!
