As I sit down to write today, the song by Tears for Fears, “Everybody Wants to Rule the World,” just started playing and I am captured by the first two lines:

Yes. It’s so true. There IS no turning back and this IS my life. I’m so grateful for that gift.
Today, I am appreciating * myself for turning a leisurely afternoon in the swimming pool into an opportunity to really move my body while laughing, having fun AND relaxing * the heavy gray sky and the feel of autumn in the air on this summer day * preparing for the all-day webinar with Annette Mease * recording my show last night with two special guests – my daughter and mom – so I could have a show for today while I’m in the webinar AND having such a good time with them * myself for loving myself even when I don’t stick to my plan * learning new things * the opportunity to shoot a wedding today.
I’m loving my life!
